Explaining what this place is all about would be nearly impossible at this point in time because I am not sure myself. I will make it about me and my background. Should it be totally boring but I am sure y’all can find the back button.

My name is Richard Harkrider and am at that point in life where one is supposed to kick back, wait for that monthly Social Security (or in today’s world call the bank to make sure the deposit arrived) but that just ain’t for me. I am not totally sure how I got here but I think it was one day when I stumbled across NamePros and got hooked. Up to that point I had a few Web sites which were related to things I have a very personal interest in such as the RosevillePlace.com.

I soon learned that I should have registered bunches of names in the late 1990’s but as the old 20/20 saying goes If I had only known. I bought and let drop a lots of junk and as bad as I hate to say it I still do but not as much.

Ok, Ok stop jawing and get to the point. I am a very small player and most of the names I own are so-so. I dislike all those parking pages so when possible I build mini-sites and sometimes I go the full route. I have one rule when building small sites and that is to provide something useful in the form of original content when possible.

When one is young there is the old saying about being busy keeps you out of the bars and off the streets but at my age it is more like keeps you alive. As an old retired software engineer who loved his work I am having fun, providing (I hope) something useful to the people who surf through one of my properties and hopefully pay expenses with a bit left over.
